Lafayette and Galvez Exhibits

We are thrilled to announce The Louisiana State Museum’s (The Cabildo) exhibit “Bienvenue Lafayette” which premiered at our 1825 Gala on the evening of Wednesday, April 9, 2025, has been extended to May 2027 from it’s original end date of January 2026.  So, if you didn’t make it to our Bicentennial last year to see this, you definitely don’t want to miss out a second time.

BUT, THERE’S A BONUS! The Cabildo will have an additional NEW exhibit on the Spanish Governor of Louisiana, Bernardo de Galvez, and Spain’s significant contribution to aid the American cause for independence: “Galvez and Louisiana in the American Revolution.” YOU WILL GET BOTH LAFAYETTE AND GALVEZ!.
